This is a steal to most people because the Muji Hut is the first of its kind from a company that previously sold items for the household or business purposes with a minimalist aesthetic. The Muji Hut is, of course, made and designed in a way that it will still draw the minimalist buyer, one who loves sleek and modern design.
Muji is a popular lifestyle brand that is also offering prefab designs for city dwellers and a larger home, which they call the Window House, in which Muji offered a contest for one family to live in for free. It seems very clearly that Muji does not want to be just known as a chain of stores with items that appeal to minimalists but they also want to be a part of the minimalist lifestyle in many more ways than they are currently.
