Anyone with a trampoline in their yard has probably considered buying a trampoline cover. They protect the fabric from weather and wear, right? Now, who remembers camping in their backyard?
This slightly more fun thought can be combined, its seems, as they are now making a tent to cover a trampoline. Not only can this be used for kids (and others) to be able to camp in the backyard up off the ground, but it would have the added bonus of protecting the trampoline surface from wear.
Maybe the best thing about this idea though is that it is up off the ground. You’re blankets might be less likely to get wet, it’s less likely your dogs are going to be rambunctious in or on the tent. It’s also kind of noisey, so you can hear when your kids are moving around. It’s clearly visible even from a distance. It’s also probably cooler, and since we mostly camp in the heat of summer, the air flow underneath might be welcome.
There are a variety of tents, and they go for around $80 – 150 dollars it seems on Amazon and elsewhere. If anyone wants more info on buying these trampoline tents, (click here). Some are more for camping and some are tall enough that you could actually still jump a bit in them (if you were a kid).
