Real DIY Flatpack House
Just about everything has gone DIY, and now houses are headed in that direction. London architect’s homes company Facit Homes, partnering with Danish architects to design this amazing DIY home that takes a mere six weeks to build. The home comes as a flat pack and is a great DIYer challenge. The wooden pieces click together without the usual mandatory nails or concrete. To some, this is unbelievable, to be able to have a two-bedroom home you can build yourself. Also, you can take this home apart and pack it back up, just in case you find another piece of land you would rather live on. It’s just that simple.
This home, is not for your amateur DIYer. Certainly, if you are up for the challenge, then go for it, but it isn’t the simplest DIY project you’re going to face. However, for experienced DIYers, this could be your answer to a new home that can pack up and come with you wherever you choose to live.
