Micro Off-Grid Tiny Home. Zero Electricity Costs

Own a Micro Home with Mint Tiny House Company Custom Home

Macro things come in micro packages, they say (maybe not exactly, but close!). These little things are by the tiny house company Mint, and they’re envisioned to be alternatives to the high cost of rent in cities like San Francisco, which keep going up, and Vancouver, which keep … yes, the same thing.

They’re actually based in Delta, very near ground 0 for Canada’s housing crisis. For this little house, they spent $80K (Canadian, I’m guessing), which included in it $15K for solar panels to be off-grid (so it’s a $65K build otherwise).

It has full kitchen, bathroom, and a loft bedroom with a queen sized bed. And there’s another loft which is like a TV area.
