Buy a share in world’s first solar-powered houseboat for $200,000

Be an Investor for the World’s first solar-powered Houseboat

Something many people thought they would never witness is a solar-powered houseboat. We have come across many things that are solar-powered but a houseboat is a unique project. North Turramurra’s Tim Knox, the owner of a houseboat, is seeking investors for this upcoming project of a solar-powered houseboat. His plans are to showcase this houseboat by using it to travel around the globe and this is where investors come in to the project. It will cost a pretty good amount of money to make this trip happen. Investors will also attract attention to the houseboat as well.

Right now the houseboat is called the Mothership, its mission is to be an example of luxury and style combined with practicality. It will be powered by 16 solar panels  along with a back up generator. A diesel generator is also attached that can be used if needed. The solar energy that will be stored will run this luxurious houseboat for 6 hours at a time. Tim Knox designed the boat all by himself and each investor will be asked for the hefty sum of $200, 000 a piece. You could say one would need to be mighty intrigued with Knox’s project to shell out that kind of money on another man’s dream. But, hey, it’s been done before and we are sure Tim Knox will find his fellow dreamers.
