This Little Houseboat Has an Incredibly Roomy, Comfortable Interior, Too

Wow, this one really is like a little stylish apartment inside of it! It has the feel of half way between a large boat interior and a house, or tiny house. Rest and relaxation on the water? Is that what you’re looking for today?

And the adventure comes with it. These “Nautilus” are new, innovative design houseboats from a young, innovative company. Owner and manager Andreas Hoffmann personally works on the architectural planning of their several boat types. He has been awarded at the trade fair Boot & Fun 2012 in Berlin with the Innovation Award for its timeless design and environmentally friendly construction. Through various equipment options and floor plans you have the possibility to build a boat according to most people’s wishes and budget.

This one is the “Nautilus,” yes, it’s the model these guys give the same name as their company, despite having a half dozen other types to chose from.

According to the builders, “With the Nautilus and its exclusive design you are the eye-catcher on all waters. Registered as a recreational craft you can, thanks to innovative technologies, you can navigate almost every waterway in Europe.

“The highlight are the foldable gangways, a convertible roof system and the foldable cabin (all optional), that enable you to pass through narrow locks and low bridges. Depending on the layout the Nautilus type, in the basic version with ca. 42 m², offers room for 6-8 adults and 2 children.

“The living area can be extended up to 86 m².”
