How About a Portable Home… That’s a Prefab

This travel trailer is actually a tiny home on wheels, and you might not guess how many people you can fit in here? This tiny home sleeps 8! And the interior of it is a wood-finished cabinlike one.

The total square footage for this tiny home is only 319, but it has a queen-sized bed in the bedroom and full-sized appliances.

It’s called the Escape Traveler XL, a bigger version being made by the same people who got quite a bit of attention earlier in their tiny homes on wheels careers for their Escape Traveler tiny home trailer, which slept 6 people in its tinier 260 square feet of interior space.

The newer, bigger tiny home is on the market to appeal to those buyers who are interested in stretching out a bit more, or who need to sleep more people in their dwelling.

These tiny home trailers are hand-crafted, and the construction is reported to be of good quality.

The weight of the larger XL version is 13,000 pounds, so owners will need a large pickup to tow it to its location(s). While the tiny home is outfitted to be plugged into the grid, it can also work off grid as a rustic cottage with add ons like solar power, composting toilet, rainwater collection, and gray water systems. These units start at around $70+ thousand. To visit Escape Traveler, see our Directory (click here).
