From an artist of many media who keeps coming up with projects that interest so many people, Rose de Jong, we have these letters … made out of chocolate. Yes, this chocolate has your name written all over it. It’s called “Chocography”
“Imagine how an alphabet would taste,” proposed the artist. “Not just any alphabet, but one made out of a classic typeface, made of solid chocolate. These typographical treats come in Helvetica, Rockwell and Baskerville.
“I was unsure where to start, since I never made a mold or did anything with chocolate before (the process of making chocolate is not to be taken lightly).
“All molds, chocolate and packaging were made by hand – with some help of a laser machine, some silicone and an occasional breakdown.
“Finishing touch is the name and actual size of the typeface, that are lasered onto the front of the packaging.”
Looks like some tasty type-face!
