Ever had an old dresser and wasn’t sure what to do with it? For yourself and your love of dolls or for your kids, create a dollhouse. That’s right, you can turn an old dresser into a doll house. There are so many ways you can create a DIY doll house from an old dresser depending on the size and shape of the dresser. A tall dresser with glass an act as a curio that showcases the doll’s clothing and furniture. A shorter dresser can have the drawers removed and/or flipped over to create rooms in the doll house.
The doll house can be exposed like a “touch me”museum or behind doors or glass to preserve special or vintage dolls and doll furniture. You can also clear out the entire dresser and make it one big doll loft. That would be a modern doll house concept since lofts are so popular these days.
