Log Furniture
Who makes their own furniture? While there may be inexpensive products available all over the internet and in the big box stores nowadays, I still find that getting a piece of furniture that suits what I’m looking for doesn’t happen much. There are thrift stores to find more variety, but in the end its sometimes easier to just make something.
Sometimes I use plywood and 2x4s. I almost used a pallet once, but that is one heavy piece of material for constructing anything, and I’ve heard they don’t come apart that cleanly.
I’ve also done some chainsaw work, including making furniture with logs. That’s what we’re seeing here, although these examples are a lot fancier than what I used to make.
