Grow Your Own Food: You Can Now Build IKEA’s “Growroom” Vertical Farm Yourself

IKEA's new DIY in-home garden is decoration and healthy

IKEA’s new DIY in-home garden is decoration and healthy

IKEA has always been innovative with the style of their products, their versatility, and affordability. Now  they have introduced a “Growroom Vertical Farm for the inside and out. Like most IKEA products, it is extremely modern looking and sleek and I love that about their designers. This vertical garden is almost spiral-shaped and of course, according to the name, everything grows upwards, taking up much less space than your average garden or houseplant area.

This is a fabulous idea for those who live in areas where they don’t have a lot of space. This vertical garden can be placed in a very small yard or small piece of land. It will only take up the space that is its width at the bottom. The engineering of this great product sounds a lot like the designing of a tiny house. Everything that can possibly be vertical or at least off of the floor, is made that way to take up less space. The Growroom Vertical Farm functions in the same way and gives people access to a garden that otherwise they would not have.
